right now, the end of this academic year is my ‘long-term’. my biggest goal is passing my classes with flying colors to ensure i am eligible to enter the thesis track. second would be preparing for the gre (didn’t have to take it for my MA), and third would be learning how to successfully swallow pills without freaking out…

academiia9.8.19 // Ever since I spent a month in Vienna (that’s known for its coffee houses) I’ve been looking for a coffee shop in the U.S. that has all the elements of my favorite coffee house in Vienna: casual vibe, good coffee, serves alcohol, stays open late, and bonus: sells used books. Now that I’ve moved to this new city I’ve finally found what I’ve been looking for - this place is absolute hipster bait and I love it. They name they specials and cocktails after classic midcentury authors, so today I got a Kurt Vonnegut latte (raspberry & orange). I spent a while setting up my spread for next week (and actually doodling a little). I know I have to pick and choose what I read and what I skim (it’s just not possible to read everything) but it’s still hard for me to do that.

On to the next that's due in two weeks, but since I'm still in my productive mode, I've started on them already.
I forgot to eat breakfast, so my mom made me lunch😋 I feel like a baby. 😊

junior year started about three weeks ago and although it started quite slow by now my calendar is full with due dates, presentations, exams and quizzes. i am starting to realize why everyone says that junior year is much more challenging than sophomore year. thankfully i still feel motivated to study, i hope u do too!

12.10.19 - the best thing about going to the library at 9:30 in the morning on a saturday is it’s empty. unfortunately it means having to be awake at 9:30 in the morning on a saturday 😭 managed to be pretty productive though, even if i am still sick. also peep my new moomin coffee cup - i love it so much!!!!
